Spectators: 7746 (Terracing: 5811, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Mustață in the 5th minute of play forced UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionel Maghear took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Mustață, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Popescu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Maghear. Ionel Maghear dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Constantin Mitrofan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Pavel Crăciunescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoicii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Crăciunescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Mustață in the 17th minute of play forced UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Claudiu Popescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stoicii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Crăciunescu in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionel Maghear prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Meleșcanu went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Claudiu Popescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Maghear. UFC Piluganii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Popescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 35 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Popescu came free, but Ionel Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Mustață took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Maghear. Ionel Maghear dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Ionel Maghear came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Stoicii's Pavel Crăciunescu. But to his dismay, Pavel Crăciunescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When Claudiu Popescu fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoicii's protests and gave Claudiu Popescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Claudiu Popescu hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavel Crăciunescu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, UFC Piluganii's Horea Udroiu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match, Claudiu Popescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ionel Maghear saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. UFC Piluganii's Ionel Maghear proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save UFC Piluganii from getting a goal against them. Horea Udroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ionel Maghear made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Crăciunescu in the 66th minute. A collision led to UFC Piluganii getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Valeriu Anastasiu hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Crăciunescu. Ionel Maghear showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Crăciunescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes of play, Stoicii's Pavel Crăciunescu made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Maghear was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to UFC Piluganii getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Valer Buhăescu hit a great ball. Ionel Maghear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Roșeanu in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Stoicii's Mugur Aldulea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. The UFC Piluganii fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stoicii were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
