Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilie Orășan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aurelian Martinaș charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Martinaș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Costin Bivolaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balauseri's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Bivolaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Pască breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 21st minute of the match Aurelian Martinaș completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aurelian Martinaș a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Cristi Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nae Scorţea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Lucaci in the 28th minute of the match. Cristi Lupșoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucrețiu Ursu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Balauseri's Emanuel Romaşcanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panait Pască came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Balauseri reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Ampoita's zone, Costin Bivolaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panait Pască came out of the goal and Costin Bivolaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristi Lucaci made a kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Cristi Lupșoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balauseri's Nae Scorţea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Lucrețiu Ursu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Romaşcanu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Panait Pască didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balauseri. If Cristi Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Săvescu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Dacian Postolache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampoita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Postolache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nae Scorţea was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Cristi Lupșoiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristi Lupșoiu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. A collision led to Ampoita getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cristi Lupșoiu hit a great ball. When Dacian Postolache came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ampoita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Postolache couldn't finish the play. Balauseri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Cristi Lupșoiu scored to the left of an out of position Nae Scorţea, making the score, 0-2. Ernest Săvescu made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leonard Pantelimon. 86 minutes into the game, Ampoita's Cristi Lupșoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nae Scorţea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match was over Ampoita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balauseri throughout the match.
