Tantava's Irinel Sichitiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tantava from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Vacareni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Boaru to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Tantava's Irinel Sichitiu got control of the ball when Martin Tomozei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vacareni's Tudor Aalexoaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Negulescu in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Sergiu Cozorici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Aalexoaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Negulescu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Irinel Sichitiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ghițulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Grigore Doman took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tudor Aalexoaiei to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Grigore Doman could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Tudor Aalexoaiei however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute, Sergiu Cozorici made a precise shot to the right of Tudor Aalexoaiei. Vacareni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 94 minutes into the match, Vacareni's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Negulescu came free, but Tudor Aalexoaiei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Doman got free with Tudor Aalexoaiei in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tantava played a much better game than Vacareni and deserved their victory. The Vacareni players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
