With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Davidescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Vacareni got a freekick which was hit by Martin Tomozei. Tudor Aalexoaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Zăreanu in the 28th minute of the match. Costel Abraham kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Vacareni booed when Gherghita FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Zăvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Călin Zăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Zăvoiu to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute Martin Tomozei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Davidescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Robert Ghițulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tudor Davidescu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Gherghita FCM defense, Martin Tomozei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tudor Davidescu. The Gherghita FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tudor Davidescu should have stopped the shot. Tudor Aalexoaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Zăvoiu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Robert Ghițulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gherghita FCM's Tudor Davidescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
