Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Dinu Luncașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Bobei having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Floreanu came free, but Augustin Vişan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes, Valeriu Manolescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezia FC and the Scrioastea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Stelian Floreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stelian Floreanu in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Vişan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezia FC's Augustin Vişan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Floreanu in the 16th minute of play. Augustin Vişan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Floreanu in the 16th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Stelian Floreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezia FC's Augustin Vişan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Aurel Șeimeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Bobei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Costin Arvinte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes of play, Scrioastea's Stelian Floreanu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustin Vişan was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Aurel Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute of the match, Dinu Luncașu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Bobei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The throw-in from Dinu Luncașu in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Scrioastea's Costin Oancea. In the 60th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Bornescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Venezia FC's zone, Stelian Floreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Vişan came out of the goal and Stelian Floreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Stelian Floreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Vişan. Venezia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelian Floreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Scrioastea fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Scrioastea's Stelian Floreanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Luncașu in the 72nd minute of play forced Scrioastea's goalkeeper Anton Bobei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sorin Dragușin in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Scrioastea's Pavel Arșanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Arșanu in the 80th minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Augustin Vişan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelian Floreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustin Vişan having to make a save. Venezia FC's Augustin Vişan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Floreanu in the 95th minute of play. Venezia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
