Octavian Manole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Floreanu's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The attack was good, but when Stelian Floreanu in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stelian Floreanu in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Manole prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sorin Ardeleanu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.S. Scrioastea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S. Lazio Craiova the free kick.
