Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albert Stănilă got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Lucrețiu Chirtoacă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Sichitiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Viorel Dragalina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Micsunesti's Marian Miclescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Micsunesti from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Micsunesti defense, Francisc Negulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Miclescu. The Micsunesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Miclescu should have stopped the shot. Irinel Sichitiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Ţugui in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Micsunesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Budianu to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Tantava's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Ţugui came free, but Irinel Sichitiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Mihail Drumeș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Micsunesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Drumeș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Petru Ţugui notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tantava's Irinel Sichitiu. Irinel Sichitiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucrețiu Chirtoacă scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Sichitiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albert Stănilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Irinel Sichitiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Tantava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Spelbu to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Grigore Doman made the kick off in the second half. If Lucrețiu Chirtoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Tantava's Irinel Sichitiu got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Chirtoacă tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes Tantava got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Alb. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petru Ţugui got free with Irinel Sichitiu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irinel Sichitiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Chirtoacă in the 70th minute. In the 74th match minute, Tantava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Negulescu to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, one of Tantava:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute Albert Stănilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Sichitiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Drumeș succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 83rd playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Macarie during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Micsunesti booed when Tantava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Macarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Lucrețiu Chirtoacă in the 86th minute really tested Irinel Sichitiu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Tantava's goalkeeper Irinel Sichitiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petru Ţugui. A collision led to Tantava getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Moise Humă hit a great ball. Gigel Alb hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Micsunesti played a much better game than Tantava and deserved their victory. The Tantava players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
