Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valer Ghionea got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Moise Hrean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vacareni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Hrean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tudor Aalexoaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Ghionea in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Moise Hrean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S. Lazio Craiova's Octavian Manole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Octavian Manole successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vacareni were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after S.S. Lazio Craiova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Ghițulescu took the corner. Vacareni's Robert Ghițulescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavian Manole in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Nistor Aalexoaiei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vacareni's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Aalexoaiei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Manole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavian Manole made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Nistor Aalexoaiei sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Nistor Aalexoaiei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Oproiu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Oproiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vacareni booed when S.S. Lazio Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Păun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Tomozei in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octavian Manole, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Robert Ghițulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Tomozei might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavian Manole. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Tomozei ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in S.S. Lazio Craiova's zone, Robert Ghițulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Manole came out of the goal and Robert Ghițulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vacareni's Moise Hrean got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Vacareni's Moise Hrean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Manole narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, S.S. Lazio Craiova's goalkeeper Octavian Manole had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Tomozei. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Ghițulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, one of Vacareni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Martin Tomozei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Octavian Manole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Mircea Braniște got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Oproiu was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Vacareni booed when S.S. Lazio Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Oproiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Martin Tomozei, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Octavian Manole was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. S.S. Lazio Craiova's Octavian Manole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Abraham in the 73rd minute of play. Moise Hrean's late challenge caught a S.S. Lazio Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Hrean helped the player get up and apologised. Moise Hrean hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Moise Hrean came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vacareni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moise Hrean couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes S.S. Lazio Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Boroneanț. If Martin Tomozei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Tomozei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 98 minutes, Moise Hrean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vacareni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Hrean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vacareni were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
