Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Narcis Zăvoiu made the kick off which started today's match. Tudor Davidescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Ţugui's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Narcis Zăvoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Micsunesti's Petru Ţugui got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Gherghita FCM got a freekick which was hit by Traian Tâbârnă. Albert Stănilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tudor Davidescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Lucrețiu Chirtoacă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tudor Davidescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Ţugui's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Petru Ţugui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tudor Davidescu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Gherghita FCM's zone, Petru Ţugui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Davidescu came out of the goal and Petru Ţugui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Petru Ţugui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Micsunesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Ţugui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Stănilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Davidescu having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Micsunesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Drumeș to maneuver through the defense. When Lucrețiu Chirtoacă came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Micsunesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Chirtoacă couldn't finish the play. After the first half Micsunesti were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Stănilă was the one to do the kick off. If Dinu Budianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Lucrețiu Chirtoacă made a precise shot to the right of Tudor Davidescu. Gherghita FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mihail Drumeș's late challenge caught a Gherghita FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Stănilă struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Tudor Davidescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Micsunesti. Gherghita FCM's Tudor Davidescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Gherghita FCM from getting a goal against them. Tudor Davidescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Ţugui in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Gherghita FCM's goalkeeper Tudor Davidescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petru Ţugui. If Albert Stănilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micsunesti's Petru Ţugui got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Narcis Zăvoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Narcis Zăvoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gherghita FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Micsunesti the free kick. Lucrețiu Chirtoacă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tudor Davidescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gherghita FCM's Tudor Davidescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Gherghita FCM from getting a goal against them. That made the score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petru Ţugui in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Davidescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Stănilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Micsunesti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gherghita FCM.
