Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiberiu Hrușcă started the match with the kick off. Maxim Moldovan's late challenge caught a Portaresti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxim Moldovan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Vointa getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Maxim Moldovan hit a great ball. Viorel Mavrodin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Maxim Moldovan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Corneliu Boerescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mircea Grozăvescu's late challenge caught a FC Vointa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mircea Grozăvescu helped the player get up and apologised. Mircea Grozăvescu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Corneliu Boerescu came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vointa's Codruț Aurelianu. But to his dismay, Codruț Aurelianu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Corneliu Boerescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Mavrodin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes Portaresti FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Hrușcă. In the 22ndth minute of the game Viorel Mavrodin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portaresti FC's Corneliu Boerescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxim Moldovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneliu Boerescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Mavrodin's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Portaresti FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tiberiu Hrușcă hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Mavrodin in the 30th minute of play forced Portaresti FC's goalkeeper Corneliu Boerescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Boerescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Moldovan went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Calistrat Dudău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Mavrodin in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Boerescu saved Portaresti FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Portaresti FC's zone, Maxim Moldovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Boerescu came out of the goal and Maxim Moldovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Maxim Moldovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Vointa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After the first half FC Vointa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Mavrodin made a kick off. Viorel Mavrodin scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Boerescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Portaresti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Șeimeanu came free, but Corneliu Boerescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Moldovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneliu Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Șeimeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Corneliu Boerescu stood somewhat misplaced when Viorel Mavrodin came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 60 minute. Corneliu Boerescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicu Șeimeanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 63 minute of play. If Nicu Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Mavrodin got free with Corneliu Boerescu in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 71 in the game by Maxim Moldovan from a close distance when the talented Corneliu Boerescu managed to make a qualified save. Portaresti FC's players were relieved. The supporters of FC Vointa booed when Portaresti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Hrușcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Maxim Moldovan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corneliu Boerescu. The goal made the score 0-8. With his leg Corneliu Boerescu managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when FC Vointa's Maxim Moldovan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Corneliu Boerescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Aurelianu in the 83rd minute of the match. Nicu Șeimeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Boerescu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Viorel Mavrodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Boerescu was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Maxim Moldovan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Vointa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
