Cornel Hațegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Liviu Zubaşcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornel Hațegan was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Nechifor Urdeş hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ion Caramitru kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Liviu Zubaşcu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Cornel Hațegan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Liviu Zubaşcus short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Cornel Hațegan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eusebiu Surdilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Hațegan having to interfere. Petelea made a substitution. Remus Ciuvică replaced Gheorghe Vintilă. Cornel Hațegan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Morar in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, bullfinches's Nae Morar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Nae Morar came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the bullfinches fans jumped to their feet. With a little luck, Petelea's Cornel Hațegan got control of the ball when Liviu Zubaşcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Hațegan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Narcis Banica scored 0-9 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornel Hațegan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. bullfinches's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
