Caco Goiano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of MIFA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Vointa:s goal. MIFA:s Ove Bergstedt showed great skill when he stopped Costel Negrilă:s penalty. Costel Negrilă did an outstanding performance 19 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Ove Bergstedt in the goal. Ove Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Negrilă in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute FC Vointa were awarded a corner. Costel Negrilă went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Vointa's Costel Negrilă to fire away a dangerous shot which Ove Bergstedt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ove Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Moldovan in the 28th minute of play. Petre Drăgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Bamford went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Vointa getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Costel Negrilă hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, MIFA's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Mavrodin came free, but Ove Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petre Drăgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Miclea, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Viorel Mavrodin made the kick off in the second half. In the 78th minute, Patrick Bamford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Mavrodin in the 84th minute of play. Maxim Moldovan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, FC Vointa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Mavrodin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MIFA booed when FC Vointa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Aurelianu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
