Virgil Neghină tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Ionică Dobrotă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Neghină. Phoenix Seini -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionică Dobrotă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilie Tăutu got free with Virgil Neghină in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 minutes, Cristi Avădanei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Seini -MM- and the AFC Ivanda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Demian, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Zdrăilă in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionuț Bulencea saved AFC Ivanda from getting behind. Răzvan Gherasescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Ivanda's Ionuț Bulencea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Zdrăilă in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Manole Ghiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to AFC Ivanda getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Damian Demian hit a great ball. Felix Zdrăilă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Ionuț Bulencea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ionuț Bulencea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Axinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Sever Axinte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Seini -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Axinte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionuț Bulencea came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Seini -MM-'s Felix Zdrăilă. But to his dismay, Felix Zdrăilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Phoenix Seini -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC Ivanda:s goal. If Ilie Tăutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Ilie Tăutu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Neghină. Phoenix Seini -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilie Tăutu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Virgil Neghină took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Ghiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristi Avădanei might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionuț Bulencea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristi Avădanei ran back to his position shaking his head. Ionuț Bulencea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Gherasescu in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Ghiță in the 97th minute of play forced Phoenix Seini -MM-'s goalkeeper Virgil Neghină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Ilie Tăutu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Phoenix Seini -MM-'s Virgil Neghină. Virgil Neghină was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Phoenix Seini -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFC Ivanda.
