Alens Becker came out of the goal and Ioan Simionică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Joseph in the 34th minute of play forced FC ANTO's goalkeeper Achim Krankenbroker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alens Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Ailioaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, FC ANTO's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maghear came free, but Achim Krankenbroker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alens Becker was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Cosmin Ailioaiei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosmin Ailioaiei really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ioan Simionică to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Efrain Joseph could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Achim Krankenbroker however easily saved by the left post. If Slawomir Lepucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vasile Dorlea fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ANTO's protests and gave Vasile Dorlea a yellow card for diving instead. Vasile Dorlea kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match.
