After having played for 23 minutes, Radu Ciompec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cilnicesti CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radu Ciompec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Şimonca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Marcel Lupea made a huge save. Marcel Lupea made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Martin Şimonca sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Martin Şimonca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Lupea. Martin Şimonca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Martin Şimonca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The corner ended in Virgil Lupu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cilnicesti CS's Mugur Vâlcu did a great save. After 55 played minutes Iustin Ştefănuţ rounded Cilnicesti CS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. If Radu Ciompec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cilnicesti CS booed when Hartau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Bobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Ştefănuţ in the 80th minute of play forced Cilnicesti CS's goalkeeper Mugur Vâlcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Lupea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Ciompec in the 86th minute of the match. If Sebastian Gherguț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cilnicesti CS's zone, Aristide Ilarie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Vâlcu came out of the goal and Aristide Ilarie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cilnicesti CS had won after a very even match.
