Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Caraseu's Aurelian Focșa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Virgil Sorin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Iustin Cucu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Drâmbă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gheorghe Vărzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Braica in the 11th minute. The supporters of FC U Manastur booed when Caraseu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Godeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caraseu's Costin Braica came free and shot a quick shot against goal 17 minutes in the game, fortunately Gheorghe Vărzaru had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Gheorghe Vărzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Focșa in the 19th minute of play. Costin Braica did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gheorghe Vărzaru 22 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Vărzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Braica in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC U Manastur's goalkeeper Gheorghe Vărzaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, FC U Manastur's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Focșa came free, but Gheorghe Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurelian Focșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Braica in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gheorghe Vărzaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

After having played for 53 minutes, Cătălin Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC U Manastur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Cimpoieru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Avram Maghiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, FC U Manastur's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Braica came free, but Gheorghe Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Vărzaru didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Caraseu's Costin Braica shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. With a little luck, Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă got control of the ball when Valeriu Agachi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, FC U Manastur's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Braica came free, but Gheorghe Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Drâmbă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Radu Tonegaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caraseu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC U Manastur the free kick. After a rather tough play, Caraseu's Radu Tonegaru got a free kick in the 84th minute. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Braica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caraseu fully deserved thier win.
