Tihamér Fazekas made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Costin Măgură sent off a good shot on target. Cotormany's Vali Sfetcu got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Yane Marinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alex Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Măgură got free with Tihamér Fazekas in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Apetroaiei took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iurie Burghelea. Iurie Burghelea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee showed Sabin Hizo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iurie Burghelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Turcotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Yane Marinov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Valeriu Brănet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Măgură could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Tihamér Fazekas made a huge save. Iurie Burghelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yane Marinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yane Marinov made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Vali Sfetcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tihamér Fazekas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tihamér Fazekas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Măgură in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Viitorul F.C.'s Yane Marinov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iurie Burghelea. That made the score 0-5 after 64 minutes of play. Yane Marinov had several of the Cotormany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Iurie Burghelea as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tihamér Fazekas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Nisipeanu in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Cotormany's goal looked a bit too open when Yane Marinov came free, but Iurie Burghelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Burghelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孟荣志 in the 79th minute. In the 85th match minute, Cotormany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Măgură to maneuver through the defense. Yane Marinov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iurie Burghelea came out and tried to block the shot, but Yane Marinov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 87th minute. When Viitorul F.C.'s Yane Marinov in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cotormany's goalie prevented a goal. Yane Marinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Burghelea having to interfere. A collision led to Cotormany getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Sabin Hizo hit a great ball. Viitorul F.C. played a much better game than Cotormany and deserved their victory. The Cotormany players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
