Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horia Balaban took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Dugulescu during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Iosif Dugulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisc Mitică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Feo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionel Neicu having to make a save. Ionel Neicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Balaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Spânu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionel Neicu came out and tried to block the shot, but Horaţiu Spânu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Horia Balaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Neicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, United Ajax's Ionel Neicu got control of the ball when Horaţiu Spânu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ionel Neicu came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Strug Iaslovat's Eloy Feo. But to his dismay, Eloy Feo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 37 minutes, Eric Dumitrachescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United Ajax and the FC Strug Iaslovat players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Strug Iaslovat booed when United Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Dumitrachescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Strug Iaslovat getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Horia Balaban hit a great ball. Florian Schmeisser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Martin's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Iosif Dugulescu got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Horia Balaban. Thanks to some nice moves Eloy Feo could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Ionel Neicu however easily saved by the left post.

The wind increased when Marcu Martin made the kick off in the second half. Eric Dumitrachescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ionel Neicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Balaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. United Ajax's Ionel Neicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Luican in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Balaban in the 60th minute of play forced United Ajax's goalkeeper Ionel Neicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Horia Balaban made a precise shot to the right of Ionel Neicu. United Ajax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ionel Neicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Spânu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionel Neicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Feo in the 71st minute of play. Ionel Neicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Toader Luican ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionel Neicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Ionel Neicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Feo in the 87th minute of the match. Ionel Neicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. There was no doubt that FC Strug Iaslovat were the better team. FC Strug Iaslovat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
