Artur Matela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Bobeica went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Valentin Ciuhandu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herford FCM's protests and gave Valentin Ciuhandu a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Ciuhandu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Artur Matela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Culiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Herford FCM getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Radu Cutieru hit a great ball. Valentin Ciuhandu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anıl Ozan Dahi's late challenge caught a FC Miroslava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anıl Ozan Dahi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Anıl Ozan Dahi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Tudose kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Culiță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Liviu Bobeica came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Miroslava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Bobeica couldn't finish the play. In the 55th match minute, FC Miroslava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Culiță to maneuver through the defense. When FC Miroslava's Valer Culiță in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Herford FCM booed when FC Miroslava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Steriopol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Ciuhandu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Valer Culiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Liviu Bobeicas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Artur Matela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Liviu Bobeica succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 86th playminute. When Valer Culiță came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Miroslava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Culiță couldn't finish the play. After having played for 92 minutes, Basarab Crăiniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herford FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Crăiniceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over FC Miroslava could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herford FCM throughout the match.
