With his leg Codrin Lungu managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Prody Team - BTF's Sebastian Nistor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the match, Furnicosi CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Lelescu came free, but Codrin Lungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Lungu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Lelescu in the 24th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Prody Team - BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Niculiță came free, but Eliodor Voica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eliodor Voica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Nicholas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Furnicosi CSM got a freekick which was hit by Emil Voican. If Remus Lelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Voican lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Furnicosi CSM's Emil Voican got a free kick in the 41st minute. Prody Team - BTF's Nicu Remus got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Furnicosi CSM getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Emanuel Niculiță hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Nicholas to make the kick off. Furnicosi CSM's Codrin Lungu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Lelescu in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basarab Arosculesei got free with Eliodor Voica in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basarab Arosculesei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliodor Voica came out and tried to block the shot, but Basarab Arosculesei slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 88th minute. Esteve Nicholas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Voica having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Furnicosi CSM walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
