Cristi Neagu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Blue Pills's Mircea Drâmba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristi Neagu. That made the score 3-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 26th minute Costin Dobrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Gliga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Toader Stolniceanu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Blue Pills's Dragoş Gliga. Dragoş Gliga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Toader Stolniceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Gliga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Surda's Cristi Neagu got control of the ball when Horea Frumușanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corneliu Toma couldn't finish the play. Surda's Cristi Neagu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Buciuman in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gigel Fărcășan made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Surda's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Frumușanu came free, but Cristi Neagu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Costin Dobrițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Blue Pills got a freekick which was hit by Horea Frumușanu. If Gigel Fărcășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Dragoş Gliga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Dobrițoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Frumușanu in the 72nd minute of play forced Surda's goalkeeper Cristi Neagu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Surda defense, Leonard Buciuman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristi Neagu. The Surda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristi Neagu should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Toader Stolniceanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dragoş Gliga. Toader Stolniceanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. 88 minutes into the match, Gigel Fărcășan notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Blue Pills's Dragoş Gliga. Dragoş Gliga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Toader Stolniceanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dragoş Gliga. The goal made the score 4-4. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
