Ioan Cercelescu scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Ciordaș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Ioan Cercelescu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Wolves Academy's Radu Ciordaș. Radu Ciordaș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, Cosmin Mestecăneanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolves Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STEAUA PLOIESTI the free kick. In the 19th minute, Cosmin Mestecăneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Orescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. STEAUA PLOIESTI's Paul Antohi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Negulescu in the 54th minute of play. Paul Antohi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Negulescu's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Radu Ciordaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Cercelescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Ciordaș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudiu Muncelean went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Paul Negulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Antohi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Radu Ciordaș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ioan Cercelescu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's Paul Negulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Antohi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Paul Negulescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paul Antohi, 4-4. Wolves Academy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing STEAUA PLOIESTI to leave the ground with a draw.
