Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Zgîrţa started the match with the kick off. Irinel Zburlea kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Emilian Manciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Liviu Borza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blackbeard's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Borza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Nacu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugurel Măcrineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Gâgea having to interfere. The supporters of Ghencea booed when Blackbeard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Zburlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blackbeard's zone, Mugurel Măcrineanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Gâgea came out of the goal and Mugurel Măcrineanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugurel Măcrineanu. Paul Bolcaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Răzvan Gâgea made a huge save. Răzvan Gâgea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Zgîrţa in the 33rd minute of the match. If Liviu Borza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Panait Bârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Borza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ghencea's Petru Donici got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Borza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Panait Bârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blackbeard's Liviu Borza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Petru Donici kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Ghencea's goalkeeper Horaţiu Nacu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Bârlea. Răzvan Gâgea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Măcrineanu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Răzvan Gâgea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Măcrineanu in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Zgîrţa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Blackbeard's Răzvan Gâgea. Răzvan Gâgea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Irinel Zburlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blackbeard's supporters rose to their feet, but Irinel Zburlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ghencea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackbeard the free kick. Paul Bolcaș kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Liviu Borza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nacu having to interfere. Panait Cănănău kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Ghencea got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Măcrineanu. Blackbeard's Panait Bârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Blackbeard left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ghencea.
