Spectators: 7751 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Narcis Mardare started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Paul Danciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stioboreni and the Gottlob players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Stioboreni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After the first half Stioboreni were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Gottlob players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
