Iulian Taşcău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Romeo Ghișerel made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Iulian Taşcău notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of roxoxo's Romeo Ghișerel. Romeo Ghișerel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute Emil Bogatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Ghișerel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Iulian Taşcău got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 12 played minutes roxoxo got a freekick which was hit by Albert Petrulean. Romeo Ghișerel was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Emil Bogatu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emil Bogatu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 17th match minute, C.s.s. Zalau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Puric to maneuver through the defense. Iulian Taşcău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Romeo Ghișerel made a huge save. In the 20th minute Horaţiu Aurelianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Ghișerel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincent Siwek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costin Cotuțiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Romeo Ghișerel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Carlos Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Petrulean in the 30th minute of play. When Gelu Ştefănuţ fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as C.s.s. Zalau's Costin Cotuțiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Ghișerel. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iulian Taşcău made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, roxoxo's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Bogatu came free, but Romeo Ghișerel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iulian Taşcău came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the C.s.s. Zalau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Taşcău couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes roxoxo got a freekick which was hit by Albert Petrulean. After 59 minutes, Wincent Siwek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the roxoxo and the C.s.s. Zalau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciprian Ailioaiei made a great header on C.s.s. Zalau's corner, it was just that roxoxo's Romeo Ghișerel managed to reach the ball for a save. Romeo Ghișerel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Bogatu in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.s.s. Zalau's José Carlos Pombal got control of the ball when Albert Petrulean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Emil Bogatu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.s.s. Zalau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Bogatu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Petrulean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. José Carlos Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the C.s.s. Zalau players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
