Fabian Macarie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Argina having to make a save. Ionuț Cândroveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Josan having to interfere. Evaristo Argina was a little too slow when Fabian Macarie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Iordache Josan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bidulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Emanuel Prezan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Evaristo Argina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ionuț Cândroveanu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Iordache Josan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Macarie in the 20th minute of play forced Campina's goalkeeper Evaristo Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vintilă Bidulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Macarie in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Campina's goalkeeper Evaristo Argina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Prezan. Emanuel Prezan came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Argina could save by the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Eduard Turcescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Evaristo Argina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Macarie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Eduard Turcescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Damian Sfetcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Campina got a corner. Greoni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionuț Cândroveanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 55 minutes, Eugen Chilian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greoni and the Campina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Greoni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Chilian to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Greoni got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Prezan. Narcis Tonegaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Josan having to interfere. Ionuț Cândroveanus short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Iordache Josan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Campina's Narcis Tonegaru got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Horaţiu Sorin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Argina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Moise Ghizdeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Campina's zone, Octav Holban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Argina came out of the goal and Octav Holban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Argina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Macarie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Macarie in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fabian Macarie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Argina was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vintilă Bidulescu in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Josan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iordache Josan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vintilă Bidulescu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Greoni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
