Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manole Urdăreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid FC's zone, Manole Urdăreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Ţeica came out of the goal and Manole Urdăreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manole Urdăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Ţeica having to interfere. Draghiceni's Manole Urdăreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Rapid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Urdăreanu came free, but Francisc Ţeica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rapid FC's Francisc Ţeica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Urdăreanu in the 30th minute of play. Aristide Alucusan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Ţeica having to interfere. Mircea Alamaru hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Manole Urdăreanu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Francisc Ţeica. In the 44th match minute, Rapid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Alamaru to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Augustin Cosoroabă made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mircea Alamaru made a precise shot to the right of Tudor Pârvulescu. Draghiceni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 56 minutes into the match, Liviu Urdea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tudor Pârvulescu. Draghiceni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liviu Urdea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Francisc Ţeica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Urdăreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Ţeica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Urdăreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Urdăreanu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisc Ţeica saved Rapid FC from getting behind. Vintilă Baldovin charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vintilă Baldovin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid FC's zone, Aristide Alucusan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Ţeica came out of the goal and Aristide Alucusan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manole Urdăreanu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Francisc Ţeica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Draghiceni. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rapid FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Manole Urdăreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Draghiceni were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Rapid FC to leave the ground with a draw.
