The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrei Vădan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iordache Popean. -BZF- Armata Ultra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Alexandru Pavelescu put in a rough tackle. Alexandru Pavelescu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Gelu Sărăroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Armata Ultra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Sărăroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irinel Cângea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Sărăroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FCC ICIM Arad defense, Gavril Gheorghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Cângea. The FCC ICIM Arad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Cângea should have stopped the shot. Gavril Gheorghe scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Cângea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, FCC ICIM Arad's Irinel Cângea got control of the ball when Gavril Gheorghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FCC ICIM Arad's Florin Măgherușan got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Ştefan Panescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Cângea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelu Sărăroiu came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Irinel Cângea could save by the left post. FCC ICIM Arad's Irinel Cângea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FCC ICIM Arad from getting a goal against them. Gavril Gheorghe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Irinel Cângea came out and tried to block the shot, but Gavril Gheorghe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. Iordache Popean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Popete in the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, FCC ICIM Arad's Irinel Cângea got control of the ball when Gelu Sărăroiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Irinel Cângea was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Gelu Sărăroiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gelu Sărăroiu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corneliu Astafei made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, -BZF- Armata Ultra's Gelu Sărăroiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irinel Cângea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a rather tough play, FCC ICIM Arad's Anton Mereacre got a free kick in the 57th minute. Andrei Vădan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Irinel Cângea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Zaharia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gavril Gheorghe scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Cângea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Armata Ultra's zone, Corneliu Astafei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Popean came out of the goal and Corneliu Astafei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stelian Corocăescu's late challenge caught a FCC ICIM Arad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stelian Corocăescu helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Popete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCC ICIM Arad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Armata Ultra the free kick. After a rather tough play, FCC ICIM Arad's Ovidiu Popete got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the FCC ICIM Arad defense, Adam Hrușcă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Cângea. The FCC ICIM Arad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Cângea should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Gelu Sărăroiu made a precise shot to the right of Irinel Cângea. FCC ICIM Arad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. A collision led to FCC ICIM Arad getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Florin Măgherușan hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Mihăiţă Firoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that -BZF- Armata Ultra were the better team. -BZF- Armata Ultra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
