An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Boeru in the 14th minute of play forced Biohazard Galati's goalkeeper Sergiu Mihăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Narcis Ştirbu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biohazard Galati's protests and gave Narcis Ştirbu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Biohazard Galati getting a freekick after 15 minutes play.
