After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ivan Movileanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fortuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Movileanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Enaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Flintașu's late challenge caught a -ARD-Milan rEvolution's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Flintașu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Fortuna getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luca Flintașu hit a great ball. Basarab Mihăescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jeremias Enaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Călin Bădoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valer Ghioane in the 27th minute. Călin Bădoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Ghioane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Bădoi was a little too slow when Manole Florean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Jeremias Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Apostolescu in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Mihăescu in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Enaut saved -ARD-Milan rEvolution from getting behind. In the 41st minute, -ARD-Milan rEvolution's Valer Ghioane ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Călin Bădoi. Călin Bădoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valer Ghioane to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Valer Ghioane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -ARD-Milan rEvolution's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fortuna the free kick. In the 56th minute Valer Ghioane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Bădoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Ciprian Cînu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Călin Bădoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Călin Bădoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Ghioane, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Luca Flintașu got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 62 played minutes FC Fortuna got a freekick which was hit by Luca Flintașu. In the 64th minute Eduard Apostu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Bădoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Florean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Călin Bădoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Ghioane in the 71st minute of play forced FC Fortuna's goalkeeper Călin Bădoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Movileanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Enaut having to interfere. Manole Florean hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Valer Ghioane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Bădoi. FC Fortuna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valer Ghioane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to FC Fortuna getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Basarab Mihăescu hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Mircea Balaeț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Călin Bădoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Basarab Mihăescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Enaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When FC Fortuna's Ivan Movileanu in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -ARD-Milan rEvolution's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Valer Ghioane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Bădoi was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
