Calistrat Domuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sören Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nae Lalescu hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Florin Cosor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Ciuvică in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezar Geangu saved Red Blue Lions-returns from getting behind. When Club 23's Doru Ciuvică in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Blue Lions-returns's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Florin Cosor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Blue Lions-returns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club 23 the free kick. Florin Cosor kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Cezar Geangu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Ciuvică went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Doru Ciuvică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Gavra in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Domuță came free, but Sören Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Blue Lions-returns's zone, Doru Ciuvică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Geangu came out of the goal and Doru Ciuvică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Club 23's Doru Ciuvică in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Blue Lions-returns's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cătălin Blidaru to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Doru Ciuvică who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Blue Lions-returns's Cezar Geangu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Red Blue Lions-returns's zone, Emil Cioran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Geangu came out of the goal and Emil Cioran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calistrat Domuță kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Golo Gana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezar Geangu skillfully saved the ball. When Marcel Petru fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Blue Lions-returns's protests and gave Marcel Petru a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Robescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezar Geangu. Red Blue Lions-returns's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cezar Geangu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Ciuvică went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, Calistrat Domuță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golo Gana made a great header on Club 23's corner, it was just that Red Blue Lions-returns's Cezar Geangu managed to reach the ball for a save. Druțu Daniel kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Blue Lions-returns's zone, Doru Ciuvică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Geangu came out of the goal and Doru Ciuvică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sören Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Domuță in the 95th minute of play. The Red Blue Lions-returns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club 23's performance. The match ended with a win for Club 23.
