Narcis Lixandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Iulian having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Nistor Caciulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costin Şunda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Bârsan having to make a save. Nistor Caciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Avram Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Șeitan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Avram Bârsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Caciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Crangaşi United's Avram Bârsan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Caciulescu in the 36th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Octav Bușcu's late challenge caught a Crangaşi United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Bușcu helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Dragheasa got a freekick which was hit by Octav Bușcu. After a defensive mix-up in Dragheasa's zone, Narcis Lixandru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Iulian came out of the goal and Narcis Lixandru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Aluculesei kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Dan Mihai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Avram Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Crangaşi United's zone, Nistor Caciulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 90th minute Nistor Caciulescu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 90 minutes into the game, Alexandru Alexa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crangaşi United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragheasa the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Crangaşi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Alexa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Crangaşi United's zone, Costin Şunda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Bârsan came out of the goal and Costin Şunda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragheasa were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Crangaşi United to leave the ground with a draw.
