Spectators: 7654 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Crangaşi United's Narcis Lixandru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Flavius Onofrei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stelian Buricea came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the UNITED GALATI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Buricea couldn't finish the play. A collision led to UNITED GALATI getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cristian Fenici hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Crangaşi United's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Durbac came free, but Avram Bârsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Fenici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Fenici in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avram Bârsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Avram Bârsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Durbac in the 21st minute of play. Avram Bârsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Fenici, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Avram Hrebenciuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Avram Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, UNITED GALATI's Cristian Fenici made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avram Bârsan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Avram Bârsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Fenici in the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Crangaşi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Aluculesei to maneuver through the defense. Avram Bârsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Fenici in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Cristian Fenici made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Crangaşi United's Avram Bârsan got control of the ball when Stelian Buricea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Fenici took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avram Bârsan. Avram Bârsan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The long shot by Mircea Dinu in the 60th minute really tested Avram Bârsan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 74 minutes into the match, UNITED GALATI's Stelian Buricea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Bârsan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crangaşi United's goalkeeper Avram Bârsan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Fenici in the 82nd minute of play forced Crangaşi United's goalkeeper Avram Bârsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgil Durbac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Avram Bârsan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Fenici got free with Avram Bârsan in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avram Bârsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Durbac in the 87th minute of the match. Stelian Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Avram Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stelian Buricea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Bârsan having to make a save. If Cristian Fenici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stelian Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Avram Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Crangaşi United got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Hârlău. After a rather tough play, UNITED GALATI's Mircea Dinu got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Crangaşi United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UNITED GALATI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
