Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5854, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Narcis Ciompec got the match started through his kick off. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Ciompec in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Ionel Roşu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's Claudiu Mirciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcel Jupâneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Claudiu Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Roşu in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Mirciulescu saved FCU 1948 CRAIOVA from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Claudiu Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionel Roşu. Narcis Ciompec hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ivancauti's Ionel Roşu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FCU 1948 CRAIOVA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nicodim Stroe hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ivancauti's Aurel Cipău tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Claudiu Mirciulescu managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Ivancauti's Ionel Roşu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gavril Braniște showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Ciompec in the 25th minute of the match. Narcis Ciompec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gavril Braniște tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leontin Todoran hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Ionel Roşu arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 33rd minute. After 37 minutes, Ionel Roşu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's Claudiu Mirciulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FCU 1948 CRAIOVA getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dorin Onuț hit a great ball. Ionel Roşu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Claudiu Mirciulescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Avram Colceriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavril Braniște came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's Narcis Ciompec. But to his dismay, Narcis Ciompec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Claudiu Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Purcaru in the 53rd minute of the match. Claudiu Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Roşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Ciompec in the 55th minute of play forced Ivancauti's goalkeeper Gavril Braniște to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionel Roşu scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudiu Mirciulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Avram Colceriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Braniște having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Ionel Roşu made a precise shot to the right of Claudiu Mirciulescu. FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ionel Roşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th match minute, Ivancauti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Roşu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Purcaru in the 73rd minute of play forced FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Claudiu Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Corneliu Purcaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudiu Mirciulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ionel Roşu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Claudiu Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Colcerius short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Gavril Braniște to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the game, one of Ivancauti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 95 minutes Ivancauti's goalkeeper Gavril Braniște managed, with a little bit of luck, save Ernest Maghiran's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernest Maghiran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavril Braniște. That made the score 6-2 in the 95 minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ivancauti fully deserved thier win.
