When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionel Roşu made a kick off. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Buricea in the 57th minute of play. Gavril Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Buricea, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Călin Buricea in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavril Braniște saved Ivancauti from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Ivancauti's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Buricea came free, but Gavril Braniște reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Călin Buricea made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pavel Dogaru charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavel Dogaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iosif Jienescu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. In the 88thth minute of the game Cutberto Reina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cutberto Reina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Braniște having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ivancauti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rapid București 1923.
