In the 5th minute, Manole Văduvescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Rachel UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Udrescu to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Petrică Udrescu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. UMF IASI's Aron Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Petrică Udrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Udrescu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Costa saved UMF IASI from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Cezar Barbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Marrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Ghiurutan in the 37th minute. The wind increased when Manole Văduvescu made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Rachel UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Văduvescu came free, but Fabiano Marrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rachel UFC's zone, Adrian Ghiurutan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Marrone came out of the goal and Adrian Ghiurutan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Udrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 67 played minutes UMF IASI got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Honciu. Aron Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Udrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Pontoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. UMF IASI's Aron Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Baldovinescu in the 74th minute of play. A hard shot by Cazimir Chifu from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Aron Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of UMF IASI booed when Rachel UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Pontoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Costa made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gavril Cluceru sent off a good shot on target.
