All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo-Luis Lăcătuș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matúš Havran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tudoran having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Marcelo-Luis Lăcătuș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Tudoran was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Rapid Bucuresti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
