The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petru Baciu got free with Aurelian Băncilă in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelian Băncilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencalp Özcebe in the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Charilaos Triantafyllou put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelian Băncilă. Ionică Domuță hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Firefighter BT ★Dac★ defense, Gencalp Özcebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelian Băncilă. The Firefighter BT ★Dac★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelian Băncilă should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Gencalp Özcebe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelian Băncilă. The goal made the score 4-0. Aurelian Băncilă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petru Baciu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charilaos Triantafyllou in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Băncilă saved Firefighter BT ★Dac★ from getting behind. If Valeriu Buzgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Doxa Beregsau Mare's zone, Marius Mureșan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Niculescu came out of the goal and Marius Mureșan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Buzgar came free, but Aurelian Băncilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Charilaos Triantafyllou notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Aurelian Băncilă. Aurelian Băncilă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Valeriu Buzgar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marius Mureșan fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s protests and gave Marius Mureșan a yellow card for diving instead. Marius Mureșan kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charilaos Triantafyllou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelian Băncilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charilaos Triantafyllou in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Charilaos Triantafyllou came free, but Aurelian Băncilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gencalp Özcebe scored 10-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelian Băncilă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelian Băncilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charilaos Triantafyllou in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Charilaos Triantafyllou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Băncilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Petru Baciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doxa Beregsau Mare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Baciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Firefighter BT ★Dac★ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 73rd match minute, Firefighter BT ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Honciuc to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Firefighter BT ★Dac★ got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Honciuc. Valeriu Buzgar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aurelian Băncilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Charilaos Triantafyllou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Băncilă was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Emanuel Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Vâlceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Băncilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charilaos Triantafyllou in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Firefighter BT ★Dac★ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aron Vâlceanu hit a great ball. Doxa Beregsau Mare walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
