Haşim Tokyay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Donaris FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Donaris FC booed when zymbry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Cosoroabă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşim Tokyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alberto Piola made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Nicu Dragoș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donaris FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicu Dragoș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute Florin Ceaușescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Ernest Voinescu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of zymbry's Folke Wennerquist. Folke Wennerquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moise Cioculescu's late challenge caught a Donaris FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Cioculescu helped the player get up and apologised. Moise Cioculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Folke Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşim Tokyay, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Folke Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Ceaușescu in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Heliodoro Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Teodor Andronic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramirez Closa in the 81st minute of play forced zymbry's goalkeeper Folke Wennerquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Heliodoro Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramirez Closa scored 5-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Wennerquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heliodoro Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Wennerquist having to interfere.
