Spectators: 7939 (Terracing: 5981, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernest Grecescu started the match with the kick off. Gigel Șeimeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Fundătoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gigel Șeimeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Petru Hristea hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Grecescu in the 23rd minute of play forced Cocoloco's goalkeeper Dinu Taşcău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Oroveanu's late challenge caught a FC CETATE DEVA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Oroveanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Cocoloco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Oroveanu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC CETATE DEVA booed when Cocoloco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Oroveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Cezary Ikalewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Ernest Grecescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dinu Taşcău came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC CETATE DEVA's Ernest Grecescu. But to his dismay, Ernest Grecescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dragoş Măgură in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dinu Taşcău, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ioan Fundătoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Taşcău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragoş Măgură went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ioan Fundătoreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cocoloco's Dinu Taşcău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Grecescu in the 55th minute of play. Dinu Taşcău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Grecescu in the 57th minute of the match. Cocoloco's Dinu Taşcău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Măgură in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Grecescu in the 69th minute of play forced Cocoloco's goalkeeper Dinu Taşcău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Dragoş Măgură shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Taşcău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Ernest Grecescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Taşcău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, FC CETATE DEVA's Ernest Grecescu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinu Taşcău was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Ernest Grecescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cocoloco's Dinu Taşcău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Măgură in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 played minutes Cocoloco got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Ikalewicz. 93 minutes into the match, Dragoş Măgură notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Cocoloco's Dinu Taşcău. Dinu Taşcău was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ernest Grecescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CETATE DEVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Grecescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinu Taşcău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cocoloco's Petru Hristea got a free kick in the 96th minute. With 98 minutes on the clock, Liviu Murgan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 97 minutes into the game, one of Cocoloco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dinu Taşcău had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Kaj Bogren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. FC CETATE DEVA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
