Dinaras Baracevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pranas Barzdžius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Gindviliu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FK Sharkey's Henrikas Gleveckas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tautvydas Bartulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Gindviliu's Eduardas Stasiulis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tautvydas Bartulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to FC Gindviliu getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hubertas Daknevičius hit a great ball. Dinaras Baracevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narūnas Levickas's late challenge caught a FC Gindviliu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narūnas Levickas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, FK Sharkey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narūnas Levickas to maneuver through the defense. Ligitas Galvočius was a little too slow when Tautvydas Bartulis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Sharkey's goalkeeper Ligitas Galvočius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dinaras Baracevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pranas Barzdžius having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Narūnas Levickas made a precise shot to the right of Pranas Barzdžius. FC Gindviliu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Dinaras Baracevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pranas Barzdžius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ligitas Galvočius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tautvydas Bartulis in the 86th minute. Dinaras Baracevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, FC Gindviliu's goal looked a bit too open when Henrikas Gleveckas came free, but Pranas Barzdžius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FK Sharkey booed when FC Gindviliu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algirdas Kasiulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Henrikas Gleveckas came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FK Sharkey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrikas Gleveckas couldn't finish the play. The FC Gindviliu players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FK Sharkey from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
