An unexpectedly hard shot by Eidvilas Dūdonis in the 18th minute of play forced Kurai's goalkeeper Miglius Andrišiūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tadas Mikelionis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arūnas Stanaitis was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
