Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) FC Skrydis's Karolis Jakas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vakaris Rakauskas came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Tottenham Hotspur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vakaris Rakauskas couldn't finish the play. Zenonas Butvilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virginijus Orbakas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tottenham Hotspur's Vakaris Rakauskas got a free kick in the 6th minute. FC Skrydis's Beržas Jatulevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beržas Jatulevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolandas Varnas having to interfere. Vakaris Rakauskas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Karolis Jakas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolandas Varnas came out and tried to block the shot, but Karolis Jakas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Zenonas Butvilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Vygantas Sabalys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham Hotspur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vygantas Sabalys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zenonas Butvilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virginijus Orbakas having to interfere. The supporters of Tottenham Hotspur booed when FC Skrydis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jokūbas Čepulionis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenonas Butvilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes, Tottenham Hotspur's Jogaila Černiauskas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virginijus Orbakas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham Hotspur reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zenonas Butvilas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virginijus Orbakas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zenonas Butvilas made a kick off. Ignas Dockus lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 52nd minute, one of FC Skrydis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Skrydis. FC Skrydis:s Virginijus Orbakas showed great skill when he stopped Narūnas Glodenis:s penalty. Jokūbas Čepulionis kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Zenonas Butvilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virginijus Orbakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beržas Jatulevičius in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolandas Varnas saved Tottenham Hotspur from getting behind. Virginijus Orbakas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sikstas Ušeckas in the 73rd minute. Jokūbas Čepulionis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Justas Žukauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rolandas Varnas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, FC Skrydis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justas Žukauskas to maneuver through the defense. If Zenonas Butvilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenonas Butvilas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tottenham Hotspur players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
