Spectators: 7783 (Terracing: 5838, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Irtautas Grėbliauskas took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Zenonas Dapšas came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the VIESULAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenonas Dapšas couldn't finish the play. Leeds United's Valdemaras Jasudas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelijus Jakštys in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, VIESULAS's Zenonas Dapšas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemaras Jasudas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute Zigmantas Baniulis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 10 minutes, Astijus Milius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds United and the VIESULAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Astijus Milius hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, VIESULAS's Ugnius Matulas tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Leeds United's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelijus Jakštys came free, but Valdemaras Jasudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Erikas Barasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdemaras Jasudas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zenonas Dapšas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The VIESULAS fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when VIESULAS's Erikas Barasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, VIESULAS's Erikas Barasa got a free kick in the 28th minute. Herkus Ričkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vidmantas Švambaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelijus Jakštys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Leeds United booed when VIESULAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erikas Barasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play, VIESULAS's Zenonas Dapšas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemaras Jasudas was left in no man's land by his defense there!

If Herkus Ričkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemaras Jasudas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelijus Jakštys in the 56th minute. Erikas Barasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemaras Jasudas having to interfere. Aurelijus Jakštys's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valdemaras Jasudas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valdemaras Jasudas came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by VIESULAS's Zenonas Dapšas. But to his dismay, Zenonas Dapšas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. VIESULAS's Aurelijus Jakštys got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Erikas Barasa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aurelijus Jakštys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Valdemaras Jasudas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zenonas Dapšas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemaras Jasudas having to interfere. When Astijus Milius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. In the 73rd match minute, Leeds United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astijus Milius to maneuver through the defense. Ugnius Matulas, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erikas Barasa in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemaras Jasudas saved Leeds United from getting behind. VIESULAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ugnius Matulas in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ugnius Matulas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdemaras Jasudas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. VIESULAS's Aurelijus Jakštys managed to work through Leeds United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aurelijus Jakštys dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 83 played minutes Leeds United got a freekick which was hit by Irtautas Grėbliauskas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herkus Ričkus in the 86th minute of play forced VIESULAS's goalkeeper Vidmantas Švambaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelijus Jakštys got free with Valdemaras Jasudas in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 89 minutes, Zenonas Dapšas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIESULAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenonas Dapšas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfonsas Utkevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Leeds United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VIESULAS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
