Spectators: 7805 (Terracing: 5855, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aistis Jančys kicked off to start the match. Vakaris Jurkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigijus Stankus struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ričardas Opulskis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Zelabai. Aras Malakauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustas Andrulis's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ričardas Opulskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigijus Stankus in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Remigijus Stankus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, FC RIM&SON's goal looked a bit too open when Remigijus Stankus came free, but Ričardas Opulskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustas Andrulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aras Malakauskas having to interfere. If Vakaris Jurkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aras Malakauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artūras Grigaliūnas in the 30th minute of play. Aistis Jančys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ričardas Opulskis having to make a save. After 34 played minutes FC RIM&SON got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinas Daukaitis. A collision led to FK Zelabai getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gintautas Naudužas hit a great ball. In the 41st minute FC RIM&SON were awarded a corner. Erlandas Jameikis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Erlandas Jameikis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aras Malakauskas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 played minutes FC RIM&SON got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinas Daukaitis. Remigijus Stankus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ričardas Opulskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the game, Vakaris Jurkus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aras Malakauskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remigijus Stankus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Ričardas Opulskis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 63 minutes into the match, FK Zelabai's goal looked a bit too open when Augustas Andrulis came free, but Aras Malakauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vakaris Jurkus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aras Malakauskas was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Vakaris Jurkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Albertas Černiauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, FK Zelabai's goal looked a bit too open when Vakaris Jurkus came free, but Aras Malakauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Zelabai's Aras Malakauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustas Andrulis in the 72nd minute of play. Giedrius Kaunas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Erlandas Jameikis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aras Malakauskas skillfully saved the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Vakaris Jurkus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aras Malakauskas. FK Zelabai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vakaris Jurkus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Augustas Andrulis came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC RIM&SON fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustas Andrulis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Airūnas Greičius during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 99th match minute, FK Zelabai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Airūnas Greičius to maneuver through the defense. In the 100th minute of the match Erlandas Jameikis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aras Malakauskas skillfully saved the ball. FC RIM&SON's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
