After some careless play in the FK Povinks defense, Benas Mikalauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astijus Repeika. The FK Povinks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astijus Repeika should have stopped the shot. Benas Mikalauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, FK Povinks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orestas Naudužas to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Justas Tautkus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abshtaynen FC and the FK Povinks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Justas Tautkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benas Mikalauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orestas Naudužas in the 25th minute of play forced Abshtaynen FC's goalkeeper Vakaris Bagdonas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK Povinks's Astijus Repeika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beržas Vitkauskas in the 26th minute of play. Benas Mikalauskas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Astijus Repeika firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Beržas Vitkauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astijus Repeika was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ričardas Liubinskas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, FK Povinks's goal looked a bit too open when Beržas Vitkauskas came free, but Astijus Repeika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Romas Kazakevičius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astijus Repeika. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Abshtaynen FC got a corner. FK Povinks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romas Kazakevičius ran over to the corner to take the kick. Justas Tautkus was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vakaris Bagdonas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laimonas Šarkauskas in the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Laimonas Šarkauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vakaris Bagdonas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Orestas Naudužas made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Beržas Vitkauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Astijus Repeika was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Orestas Naudužas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abshtaynen FC's Benas Mikalauskas in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Povinks's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute, Benas Mikalauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abshtaynen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Astijus Repeika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benas Mikalauskas in the 73rd minute of the match. Vakaris Bagdonas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laimonas Šarkauskas in the 76th minute of play. Vakaris Bagdonas made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Orestas Naudužas sent off a good shot on target. Almantas Laužikas's late challenge caught a FK Povinks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almantas Laužikas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Abshtaynen FC's Almantas Laužikas got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 89 played minutes FK Povinks got a freekick which was hit by Ričardas Liubinskas. Abshtaynen FC's Vakaris Bagdonas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laimonas Šarkauskas in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Laimonas Šarkauskas made a precise shot to the right of Vakaris Bagdonas. Abshtaynen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-5. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
