A collision led to FK Kurshen getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Laimonas Dauparas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FK Povinks's Laimonas Šarkauskas got a free kick in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, FK Kurshen's goal looked a bit too open when Laimonas Šarkauskas came free, but Vladas Mišeikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Einaras Aleksonis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Astijus Repeika made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rytis Krasauskas in the 56th minute of play forced FK Povinks's goalkeeper Astijus Repeika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Rytis Krasauskas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FK Povinks's Astijus Repeika. Lauras Nainys took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladas Mišeikis. FK Kurshen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Einaras Aleksonis fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Kurshen's protests and gave Einaras Aleksonis a yellow card for diving instead. Einaras Aleksonis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The FK Povinks fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK Kurshen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
