After 5 minutes of play, Panthrax-g4's Nikos Pechlifanis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakis Bourousis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Panthrax-g4's goalkeeper Loukas Kaliakatsos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prodromos Papazoglou. Panthrax-g4's Loukas Kaliakatsos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Panthrax-g4 from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Thanasis Tassopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakis Bourousis was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Verdikoussa's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Tassopoulos came free, but Sakis Bourousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Thanasis Tassopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanasis Tassopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soulis Kalenteridis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Loukas Kaliakatsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Papadatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sakis Bourousis came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Panthrax-g4's Thanasis Tassopoulos. But to his dismay, Thanasis Tassopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Thanasis Tassopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Nikos Pechlifanis struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Sakis Bourousis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panthrax-g4. After 55 minutes of play, Verdikoussa's Marinos Kornelakis made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loukas Kaliakatsos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 59th play minutes Thanasis Tassopoulos shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Sakis Bourousis and just under the crossbar into goal. After 66 minutes, Thanasis Tassopoulos made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Verdikoussa's Sakis Bourousis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Panthrax-g4 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Thanasis Tassopoulos hit a great ball. Sakis Bourousis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Tassopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Thanasis Tassopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakis Bourousis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Kikidakis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Loukas Kaliakatsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Kornelakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Thanasis Tassopoulos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sakis Bourousis. Thanasis Tassopoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Panthrax-g4 played a much better game than Verdikoussa and deserved their victory. The Verdikoussa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
