Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chrisostomos Machlas started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Takis Mavros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayeranσs's supporters rose to their feet, but Takis Mavros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Kelpekis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitris Kelpekis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Machlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilias Siopis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papagiannatos having to interfere. If Stratos Katsiougiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Aris FC's Ilias Siopis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christos Papagiannatos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Makis Ikonomou fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aris FC's protests and gave Makis Ikonomou a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aris FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! 36 minutes into the match, Ayeranσs's Chrisostomos Machlas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitris Kelpekis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Ilias Siopis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aris FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilias Siopis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ayeranσs's Chrisostomos Machlas got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilias Siopis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dimitris Kelpekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Katsiougiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Stratos Katsiougiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dimitris Kelpekis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrisostomos Machlas in the 56th minute of play. Christos Papagiannatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paris Gerontidis in the 57th minute. Chrisostomos Machlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Kelpekis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chrisostomos Machlas in the 64th minute of the match. Stratos Katsiougiannis might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Kelpekis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stratos Katsiougiannis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ayeranσs getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Chrisostomos Machlas hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Ayeranσs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Petsalnikos to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ayeranσs's Stratos Katsiougiannis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Paris Gerontidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papagiannatos having to interfere. The supporters of Aris FC booed when Ayeranσs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Petsalnikos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Chrisostomos Machlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fondas Bollos fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aris FC's protests and gave Fondas Bollos a yellow card for diving instead. Fondas Bollos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chrisostomos Machlas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitris Kelpekis saved Aris FC from getting behind. Aris FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ayeranσs had controlled the match.
