The referee ignored Glikoneri's protests and gave Giannis Tsigos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of OFA FC booed when Glikoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Tsigos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Makis Christoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Glikoneri getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Giannis Tsigos hit a great ball. Vladimiros Kotsias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pantelis Softis in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Zacharias Tsiantakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stergios Katsadouros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiros Kotsias. OFA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Pantelis Softis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OFA FC's Vladimiros Kotsias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Sakis Komninos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OFA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakis Komninos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ntinos Agapidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiros Kotsias was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
